The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "Teamwork in Action" (Project No: 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000300857), coordinated by KUFF Asociación de Solidaridad con Refugiados y Minorities, has successfully concluded in Madrid, Spain. Bringing together KUFF Refugees and Minorities Solidarity Association (Spain), Trabzon Kadın Hakları Komisyonu (Türkiye), We As One (Latvia), Asociația DIVIT (Romania), and Kisebbségi Egyenlőség Mozgalma Egyesülete (Hungary), the project empowered young people to recognize cultural diversity as a valuable resource for cooperation, innovation, and social inclusion.
Throughout the mobility, participants engaged in a wide range of non-formal learning activities, including role-playing exercises, intercultural communication workshops, workplace simulations, dissemination campaigns, interviews with local communities, stakeholder visits, and cultural exchange events. These activities enabled them to improve their teamwork, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and intercultural competences while gaining practical experience in working within multicultural environments.
Beyond developing professional skills, the project encouraged participants to question stereotypes, overcome prejudice, and appreciate diversity as a strength rather than a challenge. By interacting with peers from different cultural backgrounds and engaging with the local community in Madrid, participants experienced firsthand the positive impact of inclusion, dialogue, and mutual respect.
The project also increased awareness of the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ Programme and the value of the Youthpass Certificate, encouraging young people to continue participating in international learning experiences and active citizenship initiatives.
As Teamwork in Action comes to an end, participants return home with stronger intercultural competences, lasting international friendships, and a renewed commitment to promoting inclusive workplaces and culturally diverse societies. The knowledge and experiences gained throughout the project will continue to inspire them to build bridges across cultures and contribute to a more tolerant and collaborative Europe.
