“Don't Get Addicted to Drugs and Become Detached from Life!” – A Successful Erasmus+ Project in Türkiye

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the international project “Don't Get Addicted to Drugs and Become Detached from Life!” (2023-2-TR01-KA153-YOU-000168035), an impactful initiative that united youth workers from across Europe to raise awareness about the growing issue of drug addiction.

The project took place in Antalya, Türkiye, from 22 to 29 October 2024, and brought together 42 youth workers from Spain, Latvia, Italy, Bulgaria, Türkiye, Georgia, and Romania.

This unique mobility activity created a diverse and inclusive learning environment, promoting cultural exchange, gender balance, and equal participation among all attendees.

🤝 Collaboration and Solidarity Across Borders

One of the key messages of the project was that fighting addiction requires collective effort.

Participants returned to their countries equipped with new insights, ready to spread awareness, share preventive strategies, and support local youth communities.

Through this initiative, “Don't Get Addicted to Drugs and Become Detached from Life!” contributed to building a healthier and more conscious society, empowering youth workers to take an active role in promoting well-being and positive lifestyles.
