At KUFF Refugees and Minorities Solidarity Association, we are dedicated to creating a more inclusive world. Our latest Erasmus+ project brought this commitment to life, focusing on the social inclusion of visually impaired youth. With partners from Latvia, Hungary, Turkey, Ukraine, Czechia, Macedonia and Poland, we embarked on a transformative journey to break barriers and foster understanding.
The numbers are stark: over 285 million people globally live with visual impairments, facing daily challenges in education, employment, and social interaction. These barriers often lead to isolation and inequality. Recognizing these issues, we organized this project to:
Enhance empathy and communication skills among youth workers.
Promote social inclusion by addressing biases and misconceptions.
Empower visually impaired youth to become active contributors to their communities.
This project aligns with KUFF’s mission to support marginalized groups, ensuring no one is left behind.
At KUFF, we believe in the power of collective action. This project not only equipped youth workers with practical skills but also inspired them to be agents of change. Together, we have taken meaningful steps to create a society where visually impaired youth are not just included but celebrated for their unique contributions.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our project and made our journey possible.
