Youth Workers Mobility Project in Turkey

‘Don't get addicted to drugs and become detached from life!’ project, which was held in Antalya between 22-29 October, aims to develop a common understanding and solutions in the fight against addiction. The project is hosted by Turkey and the organisations partnering with us are from Latvia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and Italy.

In this project, participants had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge on important topics such as the symptoms of substance addiction, treatment processes and the role of sport in combating addiction. Participants also discussed the negative effects of substance abuse on individuals and societies and explored how society can be more sensitive to this issue.

This project not only raised awareness on substance abuse, but also inspired the participants to volunteer, co-operate and create social change. Coming together in Antalya, the youth workers decided to work more consciously and effectively to make a difference in society in the fight against addiction.
