Pathways of Inclusion Concludes with Inspiration, Cooperation and Lasting Impact

The final day of the Erasmus+ KA153 Mobility of Youth Workers project "Pathways of Inclusion" (Project No: 2025-1-ES02-KA153-YOU-000297370) marked the successful completion of an intensive week of learning, cooperation, and intercultural exchange in Madrid, Spain. Coordinated by KUFF Asociación de Solidaridad con Refugiados y Minorías, the project brought together partner organisations from Spain, Türkiye, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, and Romania to strengthen inclusive youth work across Europe.

The day began with a study visit to ONCE (Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles), one of Spain's leading organisations supporting blind and visually impaired individuals. Participants learned about ONCE's services, exchanged ideas with experts, and explored innovative practices that promote accessibility, equal opportunities, and social inclusion. The visit also provided valuable inspiration for future Erasmus+ projects and strengthened participants' understanding of effective disability support systems.

In the afternoon, participants joined a guided Madrid City Tour, where they explored the city's cultural and historical landmarks while evaluating their accessibility for visually impaired individuals. Through observation, discussion, and empathy-based activities, participants reflected on how public spaces can become more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Following the city tour, participants gathered for a final reflection on the achievements of the project, highlighting the knowledge, skills, and international partnerships developed throughout the mobility. The week concluded with a farewell event celebrating the friendships, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative spirit established during the project.

With its strong focus on inclusion, accessibility, and international cooperation, Pathways of Inclusion has equipped youth workers with new competences and practical tools that will be transferred to their organisations and local communities, ensuring that the project's impact continues well beyond the mobility in Madrid.
