Promoting Inclusion Through Awareness and Social Impact

The third day of the Erasmus+ KA153 Mobility of Youth Workers project "Pathways of Inclusion" (Project No: 2025-1-ES02-KA153-YOU-000297370) focused on raising public awareness, promoting Erasmus+ opportunities, and developing sustainable initiatives supporting visually impaired individuals. Coordinated by KUFF Asociación de Solidaridad con Refugiados y Minorías, the project continued with the active participation of organisations from Spain, Türkiye, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, and Romania.

The programme started with creative dissemination activities designed to increase public awareness of Erasmus+. Participants prepared informative materials and carried out outreach activities in public spaces, introducing local communities to the Erasmus+ Programme and highlighting the objectives of the Pathways of Inclusion project.

Throughout the day, participants also designed communication materials and delivered presentations explaining the value of international cooperation, youth mobility, and inclusive youth work. These activities strengthened participants' communication skills while encouraging greater public engagement with European opportunities.

One of the highlights of the day was the launch of the "Pathways of Inclusion" Audiobooks for the Visually Impaired initiative. Working in international groups, participants recorded audio versions of book chapters to contribute to an online library that will remain available after the project ends. This activity combined volunteerism, digital skills, and social responsibility while creating accessible educational resources for visually impaired individuals.

Participants also conducted accessibility observations in public buildings by assessing elevators and other facilities from the perspective of visually impaired users. The findings gathered during these field studies will contribute to future recommendations aimed at improving accessibility and inclusive public services.

The third day ended with a reflection and evaluation session, during which participants reviewed the day's achievements and discussed how awareness-raising, volunteerism, and accessibility initiatives can create a lasting impact within their local communities and across Europe.
